Harley-Davidson FLSTN Softail Deluxe

The Harley-Davidson FLSTN Softail Deluxe borrows from its own nostalgic history with strong traditional Harley styling. The Softail Deluxe is visibly comparable with the “hardtail” choppers made popular in the 1960’s and 70’s due to the invisible rear-wheel suspension resting on the bottom of the frame. The Softail Deluxe is the lowest bike built by Harley with a 24.5” seat height. The retro look to the Deluxe is emphasized with its unique paint job, incorporating cloisonné and a heavy use of chrome, wide whitewall wheels, chrome-laced 16” steel wheels, retro-style speedometer, large chrome headlight with chrome auxiliary lamps, tombstone taillight and nostalgic integrated luggage rack and grab rail. The rider’s comfort is emphasized in this stylish motorcycle with wide handlebars using bullet turn signals and a two-piece, two-up classic seat with removable passenger pillion.

The powertrain of the Softail Deluxe is enhanced with the air-cooled, rigid mounted, black powder-covered 1584cc Twin-Cam 96B balanced engine with chrome covers that increases displacement and improves overall performance. The Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) standard and 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission shift points softailmatch power output with faster acceleration, smooth shifting and lower engine RPMs at highway cruising speeds. The Softail Deluxe is a highly customizable machine, for those riders who want to add a bit of their own creativity to their ride. The Deluxe comes factory-installed with long-barreled chrome staggered shotgun exhaust, dual mufflers and a full wrap rear fender.

The color scheme options for the FLSTN Softail Deluxe include four solid colors and three two-tone color options including Vivid black, black cherry pearl, black pearl, deep cobalt pearl, 2-tone olive pearl/vivid black, 2-tone white gold pearl/vivid black, 2-tone white gold pearl/deep cobalt pearl and additional limited-time color offers. Pricing for the 695 lb., 94.7” long FLSTN Softail Deluxe ranges from $17,345 to $18,150 with additional customization costs.
